I grew up watching this show and love all the characters in star trek. Inspired by a gift for my dad for fathers day, i made this sweet pattern made to engage. The uss enterprise is the perfect carriage to take you on your galactic crochet journey.
Grey worsted (4) weight yarn. Then i shrunk it down to 2 ply (instead of 4) and tried to make the words at half the size. I use plastic canvas inside the connecting pieces to help it.
I tried using the yarn to string the words, turned out too fat and occupied far too much space on the saucer. This crocheted enterprise makes a great gift for star trek collectors or that special trekkie in your life. One doesn’t simply stitch the universe without a ship to take them there.
